Prepare your information

Identify the information we will need and why it matters.

Make informed decisions

Understand how your needs and the available options are assessed.

Why do I need a consultation if I only want a price?

A price only makes sense when you understand how much coverage you are buying, what type of insurance it is, how it works, and why you need it.

If you know what to quote

You have decided on a coverage amount and term, and want to explore prices.

If you need guidance

We review your situation, estimate your needs, and evaluate alternatives to support a recommendation.

Your participation is necessary: we need information about your situation to carry out the analysis.

An insurance application can only be processed through a licensed advisor. Their involvement is part of the process, not an optional service.

01 / THE JOURNEY

How does the process work?

We do not begin by choosing an insurer or a product. First, we need to understand your situation and what you want to achieve. With that information, we can assess which options make sense.

Explore the five stages

Open each stage to learn more.

Applying for insurance does not mean your coverage is active

The insurer must assess the application and communicate its decision. If you accept the terms offered, the applicable requirements must be met for coverage to take effect. The application date, policy issue date, and coverage start date may differ.

02 / EVERY DETAIL HAS A PURPOSE

Why do we ask so many questions?

Two families with similar incomes may need very different coverage depending on their debts, dependants, savings, expenses, and goals. Not every question applies to every person or consultation.

Every question has a purpose: to understand your needs, evaluate alternatives, and, if you decide to proceed, prepare your application.

This guide does not request personal, financial, or medical information. Do not enter sensitive information here.

03 / A REFERENCE FOR YOUR DECISION

How do we calculate how much insurance you might need?

Financial needs

  • Expenses associated with death.
  • Outstanding debts.
  • Income replacement for your family.
  • Other relevant financial obligations or goals.
−

Available resources

  • Savings and investments allocated to those needs.
  • Existing life insurance coverage.
  • Other resources that should be considered.

The analysis result and your decision

Calculated need

The estimated amount based on the information and assumptions used in the analysis.

Selected coverage

The amount you decide to apply for after considering your priorities, budget, and available alternatives.

The analysis is a reference for your decision. It does not mean you must automatically purchase the calculated amount.

The assumptions, periods of financial support, and available resources affect the result. The estimate is neither exact nor universal.

04 / PROTECTION, TERM, AND BUDGET

How do we choose between different options?

After identifying your needs and priorities, we can compare alternatives. The goal is not simply to find the lowest price, but to understand the protection each option provides and how it fits what you are looking for.

Coverage amount

How much would the beneficiaries receive if death occurs while the coverage is in force?

Length of protection

How long do you need to maintain that protection?

Cost and budget

How much can you sustainably allocate to premiums, meaning your insurance payments?

Term insurance

Protection for a defined term, according to the contract conditions.

Coverage beginsEnd of term
Defined term

Permanent insurance

Protection designed to last throughout your lifetime, subject to the policy conditions and payment of the required premiums.

Coverage begins
Designed for your lifetime

Neither type is automatically better: its suitability depends on the needs and conditions being assessed.

Budget matters too. A recommendation must consider both the needs identified and your ability to maintain the insurance over the long term.

05 / ONLY IF YOU DECIDE TO PROCEED

What happens if you decide to apply for insurance?

Applying for insurance does not mean you are insured

    • Submitting an application does not guarantee approval.
    • The insurer may need time to assess the risk.
    • The application date and coverage start date are not necessarily the same.
    • Coverage takes effect according to the insurer's requirements and the contract conditions.

The terms of any temporary coverage during the process must be specifically confirmed; they should not be assumed.
